Our story started in 1930 in Geneva 🇨🇭 at a restaurant called "Café de Paris" in 26 Rue Mont Blanc where Chef Boubier developed the world-famous sauce “Café de Paris” named after his restaurant. In 1942, he gifted his secret recipe to his daughter, thus enabled her to launch an astonishing concept idea of offering a Single Menu Formula consisting of a Green Salad, 180 grams of Entrecôte Steak with “Café de Paris” sauce and French Fries. Four generations later, Mr. François Vouillamoz, the current owner of "Café de Paris" is the only person in the world who holds the secret of the “Café de Paris“ recipe as it was originated in 1930 and blends it discretely at his kitchen laboratory.
