The highly anticipated Nile Rodgers & CHIC concert is set to take place at Bla Bla Dubai's brand-new outdoor stage on November 4th, 2023. Nile Rodgers, a musical genius inducted into both the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame and the Songwriters Hall of Fame, is renowned for his trailblazing contributions to music. With a mantle full of Grammy Awards, Rodgers has made an indelible impact as a songwriter, composer, producer, arranger and guitarist.
CHIC, co-founded by Rodgers, pioneered the musical language of danceable disco hits like "Le Freak," the best-selling single ever released by Atlantic Records. Their timeless tracks have lit up dance floors for decades and shaped the landscape of modern music.
Beyond CHIC, Rodgers has produced era-defining songs for music legends like David Bowie ("Let’s Dance"), Madonna ("Like a Virgin") and Duran Duran ("The Reflex"). His work with Sister Sledge, Diana Ross and countless others amounts to over 500 million albums and 100 million singles sold worldwide. Even today, Rodgers continues to break new ground, as shown by his innovative collaborations with Daft Punk, Daddy Yankee, and Beyoncé. His concert with CHIC at Bla Bla Dubai promises to be a full-blown entertainment spectacle.
The evening kicks off at 5pm with DJs and a support band setting the mood. Later, Rodgers and CHIC will take the stage to perform their disco classics and more recent hits. The concert wraps up around 10:30pm, but the fun continues with an after-party featuring Bla Bla's top DJs spinning beats into the early morning hours. Throughout the event, partygoers can refuel on food and drinks to keep the celebration going strong.
