Ernst Biergarten & Wirsthaus
Our first recommendation, Ernst Biergarten & Wirsthaus, is a traditional German bar serving steins and sausage; as well as bringing exceptional vibes when the band is playing. Located at 25Hours Hotel, the interior is bright and up-to-date, with green tiles, gingham, cosy corners and an open and airy table plan. Ernst pulls in a lively crowd at weekends, with a German band performing at the stage and animating the whole place. There are also multiple screens to watch live sports, a buzzing weekend brunch, and a very Bavarian ‘Schnitzel Monday’. Ernst is far from gimmicky, it feels authentic and fun, and an excellent place to enjoy some live music.
Jazz@Pizza Express
Our second spot to enjoy live music is Jazz@Pizza Express, with live music every Tuesday to Sunday, including at Saturday Brunch. Located at Jumeirah Lake Towers, Jazz@Pizza Express caters to everyone, with a huge variety of musical genres, the classic, well-loved Pizza Express menu, and weekly drink deals. Jazz@Pizza Express is packed with a lively atmosphere and excellent live music making it one of the best spots in Dubai to enjoy live performances.
Hard Rock Café Dubai
Another iconic spot to catch some live music is the Hard Rock Café Dubai, at the Business Bay Crossing at Festival Centre. Famously, music has always been synonymous with Hard Rock, but the Dubai branch takes it to another level with live music performances every day, starting from 7.30pm on weekdays and 8.30pm weekends. With a huge variety of performers and a menu that delivers satisfying American dishes, Hard Rock is a strong choice any day of the week.
Lock, Stock & Barrel, JBR
Our next recommendation is a very lively, very loved party bar, Lock Stock & Barrel. If you’re looking for a venue that delivers “bangin” vibes, live music and the best atmosphere in JBR, look no further than Lock Stock & Barrel in JBR. The huge stage is made for people to enjoy live music sets from a huge array of acts, as well as screens for live sporting events. Don't miss the Lock, Stock & Live Brunch every Saturday from 1pm to 4pm from AED225 per person, offering unlimited food, beverages, & live music.
Soho Garden
Continuing the club night vibes with a live music twist, Soho Garden DXB is a destination that brings together dining, lounging, and nightlife. Boasting live performances from acts including Tion Wayne, Jason Derulo, Meek Mill, Woo York, and Ty Doola $ign, Soho Garden is an absolute destination for live music with a huge party atmosphere. Soho Garden serves delicious food and cocktails in the classy main event space and puts on live performances in the upper-level outdoor club with skyline views. This one is a must-do night out, made even better if you can catch a live performance from one of the world’s best entertainers.
Bla Bla
Our final recommendation is The Tent at Bla Bla Dubai. Bla Bla is an all-day entertainment venue, with a restaurant and beach club for the day, and the party venue ‘The Tent’ for the night. The Tent is 3 stories high, has 9 bars and a huge stage, boasting past performances from Fatman Scoop, Iyaz and more. The Tent also hosts huge DJ sets long into the night to enjoy Dubai nightlife to the max. An ideal day would be breakfast at the restaurant, followed by a relaxing pool day and then straight through to a huge party in The Tent for afters.
